all my hope

If you have been reading along with me for a while, you may recall that my neurologist referred me to a clinical trial involving Botox injections. It was difficult to find a time when the doctor and I were both available for my initial screening, but my long awaited appointment is now just over a week away. The closer I get, the more the butterflies collect and churn in my stomach.

I want so much for this to be *the* treatment. The one that will restore normalcy to my life and put my migraines back to appearing just once or twice a month. I cannot exactly picture what that would feel like, but I know it would be wonderful.

I wish wanting something with all your heart had more bearing on whether it will happen. I want so much to feel better. So much.
