The connection between your health and the environment may be immediately clear in some ways. Pollution of our air and water obviously impacts our health. But there are smaller scale concerns directly within your control that are well worth considering.

Recent research indicates that harsh cleaning products often lead to asthma. They are also dangerous for kids if ingested. It is best to keep your choices simple and non-toxic. There are a whole host of commercially available options, but you can also make your own products using readily available, inexpensive ingredients, such as baking soda, vinegar and essential oils.

Important post...chemical cleaners stink! I prefer BabyGanics line of all-natural cleaners to the ones you listed. I actually think they work better than the yucky toxic stuff. www.babyganics.com
