My therapist recently mentioned she was enjoying coloring after picking up a coloring book of mandalas and some colored pencils. I thought it was a genius idea at the time, but I feel even more so that way now.
On a shopping trip with my friend D to Urban Outfitters, I picked up a very cool coloring book for adults called Between the Lines. It is filled with work by contemporary artists just begging to be colored in. If you haven't colored in a while, give it a try. Coloring is relaxing and soothing. Try it!

So funny that you posted this...just the other day I was helping Ian color (at his age, all he does is stab the paper with his crayon!), and I noticed how relaxed I was while I was coloring. It's something I've missed doing for a long time.
