One of the most fantastic support sites for anyone with an invisible illness, But You Don't Look Sick (BYDLS), is celebrating the third anniversary of its message boards today. BYDLS's founder Christine Miserandino devised the Spoon Theory, one of the most brilliant ways of describing what it is really like to live with an invisible chronic illness. And her site has grown exponentially ever since she shared her vision with the world.
To celebrate this message board milestone, BYDLS is hosting three live chats today. Chances are good you'll be free during one of them, so I encourage you to head over and join in. They will be held at 5, 9 and 11 p.m. Eastern Time. You enter the chats through the main message board page: But You Don't Look Sick Message Boards.
If this is your first visit to the BYDLS Message Boards, you're in for a pleasant suprise. With sections on everything from applying for disability to an Insomniacs Sleep Over Party, there are discussions there for just about everyone. But You Don't Look Sick Message Boards.
Congrats to Christine and But You Don't Look Sick!
