The PAIN Exhibit has been collecting and sharing the art of chronic pain sufferers since 2001. By giving a voice to what is often invisible and usually misunderstood pain, this project creates greater awareness of what life is like for those dealing with chronic pain.
Founder Mark Collen was motivated to start the site with his own art through his experiences as a pain patient. When he is able to secure adequate funding, Collen will promote the art in a touring exhibit.
The site is currently accepting art submissions from pain patients. For instructions on what to submit and how, visit: New PAIN Exhibit Entries.
For more information about the site generally and to view the art, visit: The PAIN Exhibit.
