It makes me loopy, but the Ketamine nasal spray is something of a miracle for me.
Saturday after lunch the hubby and I went outside to do some yard work and clean up the garage. I was apprehensive because heat and sun exposure are my most sure fire migraine triggers. It was about 90 degrees, which is usually far too hot for my body to tolerate.
I planted my flowers in the planters and pots I have outside and pulled some weeds while C organized the recycling and put some stuff up in the attic for storage.
And I didn't get a migraine. It has been at least five years since I did something physical outside without getting a migraine. I guess the trade off is worth it for the foreseeable future.
Unfortunately I ran out of it yesterday and as soon as it was out of my system a nasty migraine set in.

i'm sorry to hear you got the bad migraine anyways, diana. :( but so glad to hear some positive results! that's awesome. i'll have to read more about how ketamine works!
Does the Ketamine spray leave an aftertaste in the back of throat? I had this effect trying to use Imitrex nasal spray.
gah, I'd kill for something to give me back an outdoor life! *runs off to do research*
This is great to hear, really is! It's good to have a doctor who would be open-minded enough to give a try to things like that...
How's the anxiety levels while taking ketamine?
