I use lavender sachets under my pillow and in with my clothes as well. I haven't tried growing any, but that would be a fun project.
I keep lavender oil with me when I go out. The scent helps we cope with the other migraine-trigger smells out in the world.
I use Lavender, have a Ayervedic mixture with Eucalyptus, Peppermint and Lavender. It definitely can soothe in the early stages of a migraine and is the scent that I gravitate towards. Thank you for this blog and for the giveaway!

Lather is a company that I've come to respect as one that is giving back to the world through healthful products and charitable donations.
I love what their doing for the headache foundation. I use aromatherapy daily to ward off headaches and stress.
I use Lavender oil to help calm myself and reduce stress.
Wow, this looks great! I'll bet that soap smells yummy.
I adore lavender. I keep some of the flower stalks in my pocket, kind of like worry beads. When I'm fretting, or feel a migraine coming on, I rub them a little and stroke my temples and the back of my neck.
Aromatherapy is one of my favorite ways to take the edge off my Migraine pain and other symptoms. I have a lavender-peppermint essential oil stick that I use to rub on my temples, and the smell helps a lot with the pain, dizziness, and even nausea from my Migraines. It also helps mask other smells when I'm particularly sensitive to smell.
I haven't done too much experimentation otherwise, but I think it's a great complement to other treatments and I think the LATHER set would be a great way to try some new tricks!
