I'm so glad to see more "objective" data supporting other types of treatment - complementary care as it's called.

As someone who has seen an acupuncturist regularly for 20 years, I clearly see the benefits.

BUT - I offer this caveat. As in all things: BUYER BEWARE. Because we're so desparate for help, we can pour thousands of dollars into treatments that don't work FOR US.

I was very excited to hear about this study. As a licensed acupuncturist in Chicago I often treat people with headaches. While I think acupuncture is great for many things, in the treatment of headache pain acupuncture really shines.
