I'd want to go off my meds for the health of the fetus, but how would I survive without them?  Would I be passing this on?  How do you raise a child when your body occasionally "shuts down". I too would like children but the thought of the year that I would have to be off the painkillers for that to happen is daunting. Migraine ...</title><summary type='text'>Diana,&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;You gotta always do what you want. Migraine can't stop you; it will slow you down sometimes but you'll catch up. If you want to have a baby or to adapt one, go for it. Once you decide, the rest is a matter of planning and adjusting; you are an adult and capable of it.
